78th Annual Session Indian Roads Congress
Terre Armée in India participated in the 78th Annual Session of the Indian Roads Congress (IRC), the apex body of highway engineers in the country. The IRC was established in December 1934 on the recommendation of the Indian Road Development Committee, best known as the Jayakar Committee, set up by the government of India with the objective of road development across the country.
The IRC exhibition is a big pool of knowledge about new innovations and techniques across the Roads & Transportation industry. Many industry experts attended the session, including the PWD-NH divisions of various states like Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra; the Ports & Inland waterways; and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRT&H).
Terre Armée in India put up a stall to showcase their three business lines: Retain, Protect and Cross; and demonstrated how they are bringing in diverse techniques to meet future infrastructural challenges.
